Clusters provide a key position with a sustainable competitive advantage over others and influence competition. Clusters are also service organisations for supporting and developing existing natural areas.

What is the difference between a cluster and a network?
A cluster combines companies from a specific industry, e.g. automotive, plastics, furniture & timber, health technology, mechatronics or environmental technology. Networks concentrate on inter-branch topics, important for all companies, e.g. human resources, design or resource- and energy efficiency.

How much does it cost to become cluster or network partner?
The Clusters and Networks are organized with a partner structure and charge member fees. The amount is depending on company size and are adjusted annually. In 2011, fees are between EUR 299 and EUR 1,195 exclusive tax.
